KNX is built into all components and systems of manufacturers (around 470 companies worldwide) that have joined KNX. This means that all these components can be interconnected, regardless of who manufactures the product. This provides much more freedom of choice and a future-proof automation system. KNX is therefore decentralized intelligence that is present in every KNX-certified component. This means that every system integrator that can work with KNX can combine the components and systems into a single whole.
